Hi everyone!
I would like to start off by welcoming you to my new website for my podcast. It will continue to be updated as the days go on, and I am super excited to have you on this journey with me.
Let me clarify at this time, that I am not being sponsored by Project Gutenberg in any way shape or form, including monetarily. They merely provide the books for us to use as we would like, since they are in the public domain. All I did was search for books that I could read to you on the podcast. I happened to find a Nick Carter story, and intrigued I began to research Nick Carter, Street & Smith, and ultimately Story Papers and Dime Novels - and I was instantly hooked.
Now, as I mentioned before, Project Gutenberg provides these stories, books, and articles absolutely free - and they have many volunteers helping out by editing scanned documents, and setting up these stories in e-book form, or HTML for reading online using any modern browser.
I, for one, am very grateful for all the work they've done so far - and continue to do! To show my gratitude, I would like to make this offer to you, my listeners:
For every coffee "purchased" using my partner site Buy Me A Coffee (that's a $3 tip to me basically) from now until the end of Summer - Labor Day here in the US , I will donate $1 to Project Gutenberg.
For every recurring monthly membership during the same time, I will donate $2 to Project Gutenberg.
Also remember that on the Buy Me a Coffee page you can also purchase a Happy Birthday audio or video of me. It can be for you or for anyone else, and I can do it either as myself, or as me imitating Casey Kasem or The Moviefone Guy! More details are available following that link that I provided above, or here on the new podcast website: Click Here
Thanks again for listening, keep sharing the stories, and be a good human! Bye for Now!
