Hi gang!
Just a few updates to keep everyone updated on what's going on behind the scenes at FITP.
First of all, I am amazed and humbled that my little podcast has been featured in Feedspot's Top 80 Storytelling Podcasts list. This should definitely increase the number of listeners I can reach. You all helped to get me there each time you listen to the show, because it's pulling the metrics from the various platforms, so this is as much your success as well as mine.
Now that summer is about over, I should have more time available to focus on the podcast, which means episodes should be completed regularly. I have also been thinking about starting a second podcast, this one focusing on bedtime stories.
I will also be trying to create some videos on YouTube focusing on many of the same information I start each episode with, or maybe some general info about the stories or the preservation of the story papers.
Currently, I need 14 more downloads to reach the 500 mark. I have listeners from Great Britain, Australia, Greece, Italy and Germany! And I have 4 supporters on my Buy Me a Coffee page. I'm sure it'll get better.
Next week, I'm starting the newest episode of the Nick Carter mysteries, The Mystery of St Agnes Hospital. And after that...?
Well, since Halloween is around the corner once the last episode of St Agnes Hospital is done, I'm thinking about reading some actual Ghost Stories like the kind that used to be told around a campfire or fireplace back in those days. There are quite a few available in the public domain, and I'm going to try to focus on some lesser known tales. We'll see how it goes.
